We were recently asked by Rob Hayward of TEXO Scaffolding to produce branded, made - to - measure, ultra heavy duty tarpaulins for use on each of his fleet of trucks. TEXO are already a very large and rapidly expanding scaffolding contractor based in Witham but with a depot in Erith, Kent. They have worked extremely hard and invested heavily in establishment of their brand and are always looking for ways to enhance their professional industry image. According to Rob, theft of tarpaulins is a perennial problem in the scaffolding and construction industry, and he asked for this meeting with us to discuss the best ways to minimise the effect on his business. Apart from the loss and replacement cost of this, it also exposes the valuable fittings underneath, leaving them open to further damage when travelling.
Following discussions with TEXO, Meakins came up with the idea of a branded tarpaulin, complete with the vehicle registration all sides. The TEXO corporate logo would also be in full colour on the face.
We produced a durable and high quality product, using 980gsm vinyl for the tarpaulin and the branding, with the dual benefit of being clearly identifiable on each side of the tarpaulin. Each tarpaulin is eyeleted in 50cm intervals and comes complete with bungee ropes already fitted. Rob has been delighted with both the fit and the look of the end product, and is committed to fitting all future vehicles in the fleet with these tarpaulins as a standard.
If the problems identified by TEXO are familiar with your own, please don't hesitate to contact us.We would be delighted to come and discuss your options with you.
